CROWD REPORTS

Please post what time you went, how full was your theater, what trailers were shown, and the audiences reaction.

I count six shots.
I count two guns!

8:00 pm Thursday, 40% full (small theater screen)
The Amazing Spider Man 2
The Purge: Anarchy
Godzilla

For the most part, the crowd enjoyed it. Some people clapped when Walker first appeared. We all knew it kinda sucked, but it was still enjoyable occasionally.

8pm Thursday, maybe 25 people there, trailers were A Dame to Kill For, Expendables 3, Purge Anarchy, How to Train Your Dragon 2, Edge of Tomorrow. Some laughs, and I heard one women exclaim "he died?" at the In Loving Memory card for Paul Walker, with her boyfriend then mentioning that he died last year as they were heading out.

reply

1:50 pm friday 50% full in a medium theater.
Trailers:
How to train your dragon 2
The purge anarchy
Hercules
Gaurdians of galaxy
The signal

Why do people always ask this question? You realize the results are completely meaningless, right?

But for the record;

10:10 AM on Friday
I was the only one in the theater (like a private screening)
Too many trailers to remember
Audience reaction; well I didn't stand up a cheer at the end.

With great power comes great responsibility.

I love the fact that you diss this guy's question and then proceed to fulfill his request.

It's like a guy who stops over a bridge, takes a piss onto a troll and then asks the troll how was it, and the troll says "I hate you for that... but it wasn't bad."

reply

It is an interesting gauge how some people experienced the movie.
Some advertisements says that audiences loved/hated a movie, but this allows for people to tell of their own experience with the movie
It is interesting for some movie/pop culture fans.

reply

OK, if people find it amusing that's fin.

reply

10:05 AM, Friday 4/26. About 6 other people there.

TRAILERS:

How To Train Your Dragon 2
Sin City: A Dame To Kill For
The Expendables 3
Hercules
Edge of Tomorrow
The Purge: Anarchy

No real audience reaction, except for some laughs at the more humorous one-liners. I took it for what it was (a brainless action movie) and really enjoyed it.

"They killed a guy in here, let him rot for three days. Oh, and they cancelled the prison dance."

reply

Wednesday at 7:00......Free screening so no previews. 100% full in a large theater. Everybody clapped for In Loving Memory of Paul Walker......movie was partially ruined by parents who brought their young kids who in turn asked questions and talked through the entire movie.

Friday 310pm.
Nine people, counting my mom and me.
Purge, Edge, Dragon, Signal, Expendables, Herc. Disappointed that there was no Lucy trailer, seeing as how it's also Luc Besson.
One guy laughed when Paul Walker crashed the van into a wall.

................
"Fine. You want to eat? Let's see if you can eat... PIZZA!!!"

reply

Thursday night (8p was the only showing)

Trailers: How to train your dragon 2; Purge; Guardians of the Galaxy; Spiderman; The Other Woman.

6 people total;(including myself and my teenage son)

We clapped at Paul Walker's tribute at end of film. No one else did.

This preview was not advertised at all so I had to look for it.

Many theaters where I live (Union County, NJ) aren't even showing it.

It was strange to watch this film and realize that this likable young actor is no longer with us.

reply

Friday night, 835p.
24 people, 30 tops.
Trailers:
The Purge 2
Million Dollar Arm
(something about an *beep* who fakes his death)
Guardians of the Galaxy

The audience was pretty still throughout.
Although they may have been turned off by all the obnoxious laughing me & my friend were making.
