One question regarding the bomb.

So when they are on the rooftop near the end and they never got paid, RZA says he's not that bad of a guy and won't kill people, so he doesn't launch it.

Right after Paul Walker shot out the remote trigger, didn't RZA try launching it? Wasn't his intent to launch it but the trigger didn't work?

This seems way to obvious to be an oversight by the film, so what am I missing?

reply

RZA went up to the receiver and messed around with some wires which enabled the launching capabilities.

reply

Yeah, I know that. But he said he was bluffing and that he couldn't kill all those people.

Did he not try pushing the button to kill those people? If Paul Walker had not shot out the receiver, he in fact would have launched, right?

reply

When he pushed the button I believe he was acting rashly because they had just emptied all his bank accounts. He got caught in the moment and hastily pressed the button. Later on, I believe that he had a cooler head and was able to think the decision through, ultimately deciding that he could not justify killing all those people for greed.

But you are correct, if at that exact moment Walker had not shot the receiver, the missile would have launched. The problem is that it is possible that the bomb would not have killed millions of people because it might have had to be armed in order to detonate.

I don't really know how Neutron Bombs work or if they require a specific chemical reaction to detonate but this is just my guess on what happened.
