Why didn't they show Kensi at the end?

*******Possible spoilers*******

At the end of the show Kensi is mentioned but not there. Did she die? I mean it wasn't explained I don't think. Will the show come back for another season and continue off to defeat Hades?

Btw they said early on in the show Bo would be the one to get the light and dark to join and she did with the help of Mark who saw things like she did so that was pretty cool.

I was annoyed by that. Okay, I would've preferred the show's end to just be focused on as soon as they defeat Hades, we focus on the group and where they'll go from there and thats it. However, if they were going to show the kid Tamsin birthed being a teen and then recruited by the gang, having Kenzi there to say "it'll all be okay" would not only make her character stronger, it probably would've made Dagny a lot more willing to join them.

With THAT said though, that was probably the only real problem I had with the last episode. It was on par with when Michelle Lovretta was the showrunner half a decade earlier. (My GOD have I been a fan for that long?! Sorry, just completed the show today and all kinds of nostalgia flowing for this.)

My cousin was trying to remember if he'd finished watching the show from his DVR and remembered the last scene where Tamsin's baby was shown as a teenager. I had no idea what he was talking about and had him further describe the scene because I had finished watching the series weeks before he did.

The final scene I remember was Dyson describing Kenzi taking the baby with her. The camera focuses on Kenzi in the car, pans to the baby in the car seat in the back, then fades to black.

I just found the final scene on YouTube. Apparently, I thought the next image of two teenage girls making out in a car was the start of the next Syfy show that night, so I had stopped watching. After finishing that whole ending scene, I think ending on Kenzi driving off with the baby actually did make a better closing shot. I don't think the threat of Hades' return really added anything to the story.
