Am I the only one that still wants Bo and Tamsin together?

I've never liked Lauren or Dyson with Bo. Tamsin feels like the only one that doesn't take any of Bo's bs. Lauren and Dyson basically just go along with whatever Bo wants. I mean Dyson pledged is freaking loyalty to her for God's sake.

Bo generally seems to have more chemistry with Lauren and Tamsin, but this season she seems more disconnected from everyone. The sex scenes seem more drawn from her needs as a succubus than from any emotional desires. Kinda disappointing, but I guess we'll have to take what we can get.

I think that having Bo act like a typical succubus, feeding with multiple partners and having a few to none emotions, is what the writers are trying to achieve. There is no doccubus because at this point Bo is close to having no emotions at all, or the ones she has are buried somewhere deep inside the Bo we used to know. It may be (it better be 😀 ) part of the whole plot, but Doccubus will emerge when it will be absolutely necessary, cause so far Bo has romantically only been in love with Lauren. Tamsin is something she needs to explore, because they understand each other in a very specific way, and Dyson will always her rock.

The series made more sense that way.

The reason I don't like Bo and Tamsin together is because it feels forced. The writers really could have done a way better job at making the pairing feel more natural. However, since season 3 and onward the writers of this show have developed a knack for failing at things.

reply

RS acting like she want to poo poo. that's why it feel forced.

reply

I think Lauren and Bo is forced and fake, the kissing and sex is just terrible and its always the same move, hands on cheeks... Lauren seems really uncomfortable every time she's with bo. Tamsin was really good, and i think you might feel this because they only had like 3-4 scenes where they got together.

reply

I'm for Tamsin and Bo. They feel like equals, like you said no taking any of bs.

No, you are definitely not the only one!

I honestly didn't like Bo with Dyson or Lauren but didn't really have anyone to root for until Tamsin came along in Season 3.

I would be so happy if Tamsin and Bo ended up together at the end of the series.

reply

I like them together too!

I see zero chemistry between Bo & Tamsin....the writers seem to be forcing a relationship between the 2. Bo has never acted in a romantic way towards Tamsin, it's all on Tamsin's end. Bo & Lauren had chemistry from the moment they first met in ep 108 which was the original pilot and all the way through to this episode. For some reason MG thinks Tamsin/RS is the main character. She's been in more scenes than even Bo/Anna. Lauren & Dyson realize that what Bo needs right now are her friends, but yet Tamsin seems to keep throwing herself at Bo at every turn. I just think Bo needs to be by herself right now.

I'm the opposite. Sort of. I see a lot of chemistry between Bo and Tamsin. It would be really cool if they were endgame but I'm kind of likening that as to people who shipped Buffy with Principal Wood from Buffy the Vampire Slayer if you watched the show. They showed interest in each other and maybe got some fans for them arguing different points but (at least before the finale aired) they didn't have a chance against Spike/Buffy and Angel/Buffy fans who had more time to root for their pairings and favorite characters. But in regards to Buffy's finale(TV not comics) I have a feeling Lost Girl will follow almost the same way. I have a theory that I can't let go of but more on that later.

When I first got into this show I really tried to get into Doccubus. They are great. I will admit. I watched clips of them and thought they were great but as for shipping them I just couldn't quite get there. I wasn't hating them or rolling my eyes at them. I just wasn't going "Hell yeah!" when they got together. But I am more of a DyBo fan too. But then the Kenzi missing episode came where she and Tamsin searched for her happened and I sort of saw a spark and then the episode where they go to Brazenwood(?) and actually kissed for whatever reason I was like "Damn!" in a good way. I was expecting them to drop it though. And they would have gotten away with it too but with each passing episode it was being brought up and you could see Tamsin was wavering in her loyalty and you could see great moments between her and Bo. Then Season 4 happened and it was like they were given a clean slate. They could make her and Bo best friends or sisters even but we were right back in with the kissing and such.

But then Valkuwolf happened. I don't even know why. Do they have chemistry? Sure. But it seemed out of left field considering in Season 3 we had one kiss and some flirting in another episode or so. Doesn't really compare with what they've been doing with Bo/Tamsin. I just don't want Valkuwolf or Tamsin with Mark just to be safe to be endgame. That's a fear of the show I got.

I think Tamsin is getting so much screentime this season is because Ksenia is not in the show that much. That's probably also the reason why Mark was introduced. Hell, they'll probably pair Kenzi with him when she comes back. I don't think Tamsin is throwing herself at Bo at every turn. I don't see that and I'm a Valkubus fan. Maybe I'll see it with passing episodes. Who knows? And it is possible to be oblivious of someone's feelings for you. Some people need to be hit over the head to see it. But a lot of people have been complaining that Bo has been oblivious to everything since Season 4 which I agree. I still can't tell if Rainer was a bad guy or what.

Sorry this is so long but now to my theory. I don't think Bo will end up with anyone. I see her having romantic/sexual scenes and moments with Tamsin, Dyson, and Lauren. Lauren will probably be the most important if that makes you happy. But I see her dying in action but achieved for the Faes something they never had before or had but just for a little while or in secret. That nobody has to choose or have to be bound by the rules of Light or Dark. She'll be like a bedtime story for kids and an inspiration and all that. I see an old Kenzi telling her grandkids about her young days with Bo and her friends and how their world came to be. Then maybe Kenzi joining the others in Valhalla or something. I can't shake that theory. It might change. I'm starting to think we'll lose Tamsin because of the last episode with her vowing to help Bo with her dad but the other stuff still stands in my mind.

I saw absolutely no chemistry between Bo and Lauren the entire series. Bo had more chemistry with strangers than Lauren. Lol. Bo had more chemistry with Evony than with Lauren. I hate that they made Bo and Lauren endgame. I wanted the series to end with Bo completely becoming Dark Queen, joining her father and ending the world! I wanted a completely off the wall, unpredictable ending. But I would have rather Bo been single than with Lauren. We all know that it won't work for long between them. Definitely not the rest of Lauren's life. Nothing about their relationship made me feel like they have what it takes to not only survive the woes of a normal relationship, but also the complications of the Fae world they live in.

reply

I haven't seen any of season 5 but if they're not going to put her with Dyson I really hope they go another route and put her and Tamsin together. I have zero use for Lauren.

reply

The last episode (5x06) did no favors to Tamsin and Bo shippers.

reply

It really didn't. The first episode where I saw Tamsin act out of character. She's not clingy or "we slept together so now I am automatically your girlfriend" type!

reply

I completely agree. I want them together but I'm really mad with how the writers decided to do it. I thought she of all people understood that Bo doesn't really do monogamous relationships. I miss how they were together in season 3, when Tamsin kissed Bo after Bo killed that guy. The writers better have a damn good reason for ruining both Bo's and Tamsin's characters.

reply

Yep I agree with you very much. Clingy Tamsin was the opposite of how I'd perceived her character to be as well and so I'm annoyed that the writers took that approach.

I was rooting for them too, but they've kinda crushed all hope after last night's episode. Super sad today :(

Same.

They better not kill her off. Was worried after last ep she was about to use her powers on Bo out of spite.

All I'm really hoping is that she ends up with anyone but Lauren lol. That character just bothers me. So much. But I'm sure whatever they do will be good! Can't wait til we can finally get it in the US.
