Good Grief ! I just caught a glimpse of this movie retitled Alien Opponent and think I saw Roddy Piper and sure enough I came here to see the cast and it is. For sure I must see this movie no matter how good or bad it is. I was a big fan of Rowdy Roddy Piper in his days of wrestling !!!!!
shareyep, it was The Piper awrite...AO is not anywhere near up to his better stuff (They Live, et al) so I'd give it a 5 just b/c he's in it...but it's pretty lame and I was hoping for much more (although Adrienne LaValley is in it..wow).

shareOh yeah, its bad, really bad and really technically bad. I feel like almost all the audio in the film, if you wanna call it a film, is overdubbed with sound effects and voiceovers. Roddy, tries. There are things he does to make me think he was trying to act in this but it is pretty bad. I did find some of the humor funny but the setups and delivery ruined it for me. If this was done as a serious scifi comedy it might have had a chance. Clearly all the money went to London/Pipper, this movie has no production value and ultimately that is what killed it for me.
