Movies are make-believe. He's pretending. It's not real. You can be in favor of gun control and still play with a fake gun when you're pretending in a movie that you're making for people's entertainment. You should get this by now if you're old enough to be on the computer.

Like video games movies aren't real. Just because he uses a gun in a movie doesn't mean that he supports using one in real life.

But he isn't. When he is in a movie he is not being Jeremy Renner. He is being whatever character he is playing. So he can't be a hypocrite. Now if he was in a movie playing Jeremy Renner that would be one thing but as someone has previously posted he didn't say anything about taking guns away from people. In fact he said the opposite. He said he doesn't believe taking guns away from people is the answer. So all of you stating this BS about Renner's stance on gun control and that he wants to take guns away from people is wrong. Just plain wrong. The OP should delete his initial comment because the post that someone did that actually states Renner's actually statement proves everything he said to be wrong.

That's a bit tricky. Action movies by definition pretty much have guns. Though, I guess you could add any movie with swords or something.

So, let's say Kill Bill, I don't think Beatrix Kiddo shot anyone (been a while since I saw it, but don't think so).

You could maybe include a few car movies, such as Cannonball Run or Smokey and the Bandit.

Of course, for every Crouching Tiger, there's a Matrix and Aliens to load up on guns with. :-)

I wonder if the OP realizes that in The Town, Renner plays someone who is a FAR cry from a "gun wielding hero"... Not too mention the fact that the movie that made Renner a name was Dahmer. The point is that Jeremy Renner has NOT played the hero in all the movies he's been in.

So funny, I am really just sitting here laughing. You are so right. Not only has he not played the hero, Renner has DIED a horrible death in 90% of his projects. How many actors have had the "lethal injection" twice? He has been a bad, bad boy over and over. Shameful how much I like it.

I love Americans and America in general. But the OP and his supporters shouldn't be let out of the house, how do you not fall down more often?

So every single Hollywood Actor and Actress can only perform in something with which they totally agree with every aspect of the script.

In that case they would only be able to kiss their wives and husbands because to kiss somebody else would invite the accusation of "they believe in adultery".

What a travesty of a thought process....
