Mina (SPOILERS)

did anyone else feel Mina's death wasn't necessary? like, there was so much potential for the relationship between her and Hansel, not to mention her and Gretel (both being white witches).

I would love to have seen a bit of magic come from Hansel as well (considering the ending monologue mentions them BOTH having powers), like healing the wound or at least slowing her blood loss so they could finish Muriel and then save her properly. or even if Mina was slowly fading but they still had time to work, and she used her last bit of conscious strength to help Hansel with his "sugar sickness," perhaps b/c the syringe had busted in the fight!

it didn't help that the movie was so fast-paced and gave you a few moments to like or hate characters. Mina was a bit of an enigma from the start, and between her and siblings, there was a lot more potential for character development.

at least they could have had an alternate ending so people could choose. it would have been fun to see Mina trudging along in the desert with the rest of the gang, maybe with Hansel's arm slung over her shoulders ;) :P

I totally agree with you! My thoughts exactly! It's such a pity that they had to kill Mina... And what about the siblings' powers?

It felt totally unnecessary like the filmmakers were trying to add unnecessary drama to the movie. I would have preferred it if she had lived.

When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness.

Only nescessary that she be gone in the final fight scene but she could have very much recovered after a stab wound like that, she is a white witch afterall.

As the new team was walking in the desert, I was really hoping to see mina alive, holding that powerful beige book.
Every fantasy posey needs a healer support. She could have cured Hans' diabetes.

Well, lets just use our imagination. Mina is alive and is expecting twins.
