He was the same actor that played a similar role in the movie Airplane.

He was the retirement resident that kept making remarks of a sexual nature. He also did that in Airplane.

I didn't make that connection. But I totally connected this episode to Columbo Forgotten Lady, by having an elderly woman scale the vine on the side of the house!
