The most disappointing element in the movie...
We received almost no information about his sources of inspiration for his films. There was nothing about his enthusiasm for U.F.O. or the idea behind his first movie Duel and so on. Even the family disputes are confusing and somewhat different from the real story as told by Spielberg. It's hard to connect them to the families depicted in his movies.
I don't understand why they made a semi-autobiographical film with different names. Why not go the extra mile and create a full autobiography? This way, the viewers, most of whom are devout Spielberg fans, wouldn't miss the opportunity to see what they've been eagerly waiting for.
