Australia seems to get war movies right..
If only we could translate this into other films.
This is the best Australian film I've seen since Chopper.
You know it makes sense.

Gallipoli is one of the best war films I've ever seen.

Pity they always show Aussies getting used as cannon fodder by the English...
And worse aussies are proud of it...
And worse still they criticise other countries and their soldiers. At least other countries soldiers fight for their own country.
Eat the Neocons.
And that's better? Fighting for those who cannot fight for themselves is honorable.

Eat the Neocons.
It's probably our ingrained sense of futility. Same reason we vote for a worthless pair of tits on a bull every election ( one on the left and the one on the right). Also the same reason we sign up for every pointless, self defeating war going.
shareI agree, your typical american war movies are usually... americans are shown as gung ho heroes and great markesmen shipo with weapons never blocking and they always hide... while the ennemies are somewhat idiots who stand in the open, always miss and always have their guns jam...! I prefer movies NOT depicting american soldiers..!
