Best Zombie TV Show Ever?

I'm 7 episodes in, and so far I am thoroughly enjoying it. It's certainly far, far better than The Walking Dead. If you are into zombie movies/shows, this is a must-see, but it works for anyone who wants good stories, and interesting characters. It may all fall apart towards the end, but to this point it's great.

I'm trying to think of other zombie shows besides the The Walking Dead, which started out well but became complete trash quite quickly, and its awful-from-the-start spin-off. What else is there that may compete with this show in terms of zombie TV?

I would consider Kingdom (another Korean show) to be the best zombie show.

Even Sweet Home (which is more a monster than zombie show) is a lot better than this.

reply

I 100% agree on Kingdom. I am enjoying this one more than Sweet Home though. Kingdom is phenomonal.

And the one episode spin off of Kingdom was good as well!

Another vote for Kingdom, better than the good episodes of Game of Thrones and Walking Dead.

Dead Set is the best zombie show, it's a brilliant British miniseries. But this one was good too.

I agree, only 5 episodes as well which I think works better than this as it’s stretched out over 12 episodes, but I’m still enjoying this as well.

reply

5 episodes were perfect. It also has a lot of rewatch value because you can watch it in one sitting. I just wish I could get it on dvd or it was streaming somewhere.

reply

It's on Netflix, UK version anyway.

Best zombie show ever if you are into k-pop and haven't seen many zombie movies.

If not, this is just a huge pile of zombie clichés that have been done a million times before stretched over too many episodes with utterly unlikable characters and kids trying really hard to be "cool".

reply

I know nothing about K-Pop, but have seen many zombie movies, and disagree with you. I thought the mix of story and terror was good, and the characters were believable and interesting. The show does a great job making you feel invested in their lives, and fearing for their safety.

The problem with The Walking Dead is it’s such an inconsistent show. There are terrible episodes, mediocre episodes and then some truly fantastic episodes. It’s all over the shop in terms of quality but every once in a while it delivers a really standout episode but then probably will follow it up with a crap one.
