Reminded me of Austin Powers

A number of korean films or shows are over the top melodramatic. Example in this is the background of the soldier with the mother nagging him over the phone about safety while he sheds tears of fear and love for his mom. Lol. Doesn't it remind anyone of the ott background and flashback of the henchmen in Austin Powers?

Every character should have their own part, it brings the scene to life and gives it a genuine feeling. In some tv shows you'll notice everyone stands around waiting their turn or just listening. Constant static scenes are boring. This didn't remind me of Austin Powers but it's the same idea, lots of stuff going on.

Not sure how that correlates to the melodramatic scene and overbearing motherly nagging tbh.

Actually in this show you'll notice, often many stand around dull and waiting for something. Compare that to other shows. I find it very infuriating. This is certainly an overhyped show that's nowhere near either Kingdom or the 1st seasons of the Walking Dead.

Characters are illogical, even supposed professionals. The ineptitude and inappropriate melodrama is mind boggling. The slow mo added to the melodrama looks caricature-ish like you're watching a parody film like Austin Powers, Airplane, or Scary Movie. Characters screaming and making noises to attract zombies or tripping and not bothering to get up until the zombie eats them, the father rubbing around with no weapon, characters acting with no urgency whatsoever, etc, way too many stupid inept moments.
