His evasion from the military quarantine camp was the most ridiculous scene so far. He attacked 2 soldiers, stole their gear, abandoned his partner behind to be court marshalled, locked up forever or executed. He's running like an idiot followed by 4-5 soldiers no more than 25 meters behind shooting submachine guns and he somehow makes it only grazed by one bullet. He should have looked like a swiss cheese by then.

shareThere were 2 directors so that is probably why some scenes are badly directed and others are fine. The father's death was equally ridiculous. He could have just walked off the court and gone with the kids but he kept playing Jurassic Park with the zombies.
shareI was thinking the same but that gate had the locking mechanism on that side so it appeared to be the only way to keep it closed..
Was it still stupid, yeah, he could have found a way to lock it from the other side but still was not 100% stupid ....
Don't forget he also decided to remove his helmet while being shot at.
shareFathers death made me so angry. The only reason he died was because they didnt want to break the narrative how scared school children have to save themselves. So they didnt want Adult to show up and navigate them to safety.
So they basically told Father to go somewhere and die and get out of picture. So he did. With idiotic senseless death. Why invent that character at all then? Should have stayed at that camp. My respect to him for leaving his friend at camp to survive. Smart decision. As that guy would surely die.
Same reason why female Teacher died. Its like showrunners were like: "Ok, so kids got into this room. Now we dont need Adult here. Go and die somewhere. So she did". So idiotic. I was angry at that. Because Teacher was good character.
Or they were trying to stop him, but unwilling to kill one of their own?
