Danny Greene's character so badly acted.

Seriously guys, and dont be afraid to admit it... The acting was horrible. He did not convince me at all.

At times it was cringing. At times when a scene ends, you realise.... oh sh*t, was that meant to be a badass scene, meant to wow us? - missed it!

Despite his accent, Stevenson was great as the eponymous Irish gangster.

""Can you do better??""

That's the dumbest argument I've ever heard.

It should go into the next publication of Hitchhikers guide. As an add-on addition.

Being "badass" isn't always about total bloodbath and carnage. Greene was a very complicated but almost mythical character. I think Ray Stevenson portrayed that perfectly. I think u should stop watching films like saw and shut up.

Why even respond to mindless trolls like that. They put up these ridiculous posts just to get a rise out of people.

Christ, all of the replies on this thread are so arrogant, casting aspersions on the OP's film preferences out of nowhere, and outright refusing to believe somebody could opine in a way that doesn't receive Stevenson's performance in a positive light. For the record, Danny Greene in reality was a wild and crazy guy, not a monotonous, surly hulk. Gary Oldman's character of Jackie Flannery in State Of Grace is more in line with how Danny Greene was in real life.

What about Vinnie Jones' acting and accent!!??
