Dexter **** so a sequel with only Harrison? No thanks and not likely.
Who'd like that?
shareHowever unlikely, he could’ve survived the chest shot & might wind up a jailed consultant, like Hannibal Lecter, EDIT: just read a post-finale interview w/ Clyde Phillips, who stated that Dexter is really truly dead, as was Clyde’s intention from the get-go, before he left in show.
Or the next season(s) could flash backwards a few years (but didn’t imaginary Deb say he hadn’t killed since Miami?). Or we could follow Harrison as he makes his way through life with an imaginary Dexter of his own.
Or Showtime & Michael C. Hall were teasing another season just to better hide the ending of this one.
This is Game of Thrones esque bad ending. No one is interested in a Harrison spin off.
shareI think it would be fascinating to watch Harrison evolve. There's a couple of seasons worth already. But they would probably hire a more famous actor to carry the show.
shareNo thanks. The ending is a better closure to "Dexter" than the original and I'm okay with it. I know a lot of people hate it, I don't, because no matter his intent, Dexter was still "off" and was ending lives, even though they were deplorable people most times. He also affected innocent people as well in major ways.
