Florence Pugh
She is becoming quite the fine young actress, who held this movie together through most of the middle 2/3, helped in large part by Morgan Freeman, who still shows good acting chops for someone in his mid 80s.
I mention the middle 2/3 because the first 1/3, perhaps less, with the interplay between Florence Pugh and Chinaza Uche, playing her boyfriend, was forced and showed little chemistry between the two. Uche's acting also paled compared to Pugh's.
Then there was the final, say 1/3, which at times was sappy and out of character, on Freeman's part at least. There was a decent resolution, though.
Overall, I rated it at about the IMDB score of 7.1.
