What a wonderful surprise cameo......

Had to do a double take to make sure it was who I thought it was....wish he were doing more things.

A few days ago I read a blurb somewhere about a surprise cameo in an unnamed movie (the writer refused to name the actor or movie) and what a pleasant surprise.

Are you talking about Fetterman?? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

reply

I missed that one and at first thought you were joking until reading more about the movie. I was talking about Bale's bearded friend. I thought he had completely retired.

reply

So who then? Robert Duvall? I didn't know that he was retiring. But if that's who you're talking about he probably did the role first before saying he was going to retire maybe?

reply

Sorry, didn't mean to imply Duvall had officially retired, but with him being 92 it just seemed he quietly did.

He looked pretty good, too. I had no idea he was going to be in this (I tend to read very little beforehand when it comes to programs I'm going to watch to avoid spoiling any surprises).

reply

Wow, 92!! He doesn't look like he's aged a day in the last 30 years lol.

reply

I had to watch the movie because of this post. This sounds silly, but whenever I see Duvall my mind goes back to The 6th Day.

Anyway, thank you for the hint! I might not have watched the movie otherwise. And this was a good watch.

reply

You are welcome. Earlier it struck me how he and Eastwood would have been the same age in Joe Kidd.

I've always liked him in The Apostle and Colors. So many.
