Had to take a break 45 mins in

to get a respite from the main character. So far she’s been absolutely unbearable to every other character not to mention a complete snob to the blue collar guys who can’t sit in their PJ’s working remotely from their home computers like her. I’m thinking Soderbergh wrote her like this to redeem her by the end but man, I need my own personal intermission. There’s been nothing entertaining about this gal in the first act.

Actually, an okay movie now that I watched it through. I never did connect to the main character because she was so bitter and humorless. But, she had a back story that explained it a bit. There were some silly turns like the diversion she deploys on the bad guys (one of whom patting about the floor for his glasses like Velma on Scooby Doo). But, the movie was well paced with minimal woke pandering for a flick revolving around a blue haired Gen Z computer expert in 2022 Seattle.

The actress is a Millennial, not Gen Z.

Otherwise, I agree. It is a very 2022 film.

It's totally pandering when you think about it. But I'm glad someone else found her unbearable. She was a grade A asshole and needlessly assertive and needlessly curt to everyone she spoke to.
