The pop culture songs?
It was rather interesting how the film managed to use a lot of pop songs in the film.

shareReally? I hate when they do that. To me it just seems like lazy writing and I hate about 95% of pop culture music.
shareI've noticed that they do a lot of that in all these cookie-cutter "kids' films".
They always seem to hit audiences over the head with these pop-culture
references. It doesn't half start to grate after a while.
Prime examples are the Shrek films and Robots.
Maybe it's just me becoming cynical in my old age.
So this is how liberty dies-with thunderous applause?
