Caroline doesnt do thing by accident

In Season 5 Caroline could see how Joe was hurting. And how he may be manipulated by his wife. When they were at the Hoboken apartment, and Melissa {who started the tit for tat and went on and on and on all season} was texting Teresa trying to say SHE will take them somewhere. It was Teresa's idea!!! Drop your kid off at her aunts house. What's Teresa going to do? Sit there and bash her nieces mom and not expect Antonia to run back and tattle. Come on Melissa!

Caroline sees that tight leash. She likes Joe going crazy and getting Jealous. Caroline figured if she talked with Joe, then she could talk with Teresa and work them out, that maybe Teresa could help her with Dina. I understood that. No problem. Caroline was great this season. She was always my favorite since I saw her "lie" for Dina. --- or whatever. She's loyal. I love that.

Caroline now hates Dina, her own sister, and wants nothing to do with her... Loyal? Where you been??!

And, yes this goes back to the first or second season, but WHO calls their relationship with their family being "thick as thieves"? I have heard several relationships called that, but never a family one and never one that the speaker was in. You look at other people and say, "They're thick as thieves," not your own pals.

The Manzos are one of the most boring families on TV.

Parkguy, Caroline doesnt hate her sister. She has said time and time again she would be there for her at any moment. I dont think either of them hate each other. I think Dina is tired of a certain someone (implying Jacqueline) getting involved. She was going to meet Chris but someone made sure that didnt happen (again, Jac).

Dina divorced Tommy, which is Albert's brother as well. So Caroline probably felt in the middle of a lot of things. Maybe knowing things but couldnt tell Dina because she heard it from her husband. Who knows?  But hopefully they can work it out.

I agree that Caroline has ulterior motives. I used to like her season 1 and 2 - then she lost me when she purposely blamed Teresa for her relationship with Dina - when the real culprit is Jacko. Caroline is usually honest and I liked that about her but after she lied - I looked at her differently.

As far as loyalty - Caroline is loyal to a certain extent. The problem is Jacko and Dina - they just don't like each other. Caroline doesn't even like Jacko however, since Jacko is married to Chris she tolerates the nutcase Jacko - for the reason alone.

Caroline is most loyal to Chris and will have his back no matter what and if that means a stranded or even having no relationship with Dina - then she is willing to accept that. Dina sees Jacko for what she is and she chooses not to be around her - and after seeing how mentally unstable Jacko has shown herself to be - I don't blame her. Jacko has probably been somewhat of a b!tch to Dina due to her own insecurities since Dina and Chris's ex are/were friends - and I believe were engaged when she and Chris hooked up.

Dina is probably upset because Caroline also knows that Jacko is an unstable troublemaker however, out of loyalty to Chris - Caroline won't turn on Jacko the way Dina probably wants her to and/or Caroline probably takes Jacko's side over Dinas - due to her loyalty to Chris.

There are probably other issues as well but I think Jacko is one of the main issues in regards to Dina's relationship with Caroline.
