Her and I

Ugh. It drives me crazy. Some of the women on the other HW shows make the same mistake. I just had to get that off my chest. LOL.

Do you remember when Danielle would say "those woman"...I think Andy even brought it up at a reunion!! WOMEN....more than one WOMAN would be WOMEN!! That used to drive me crazy!

They must have slept through the grammar lessons in school !!! It might also be because their parent first language was not English, so at home they didn't have a good role models for speech. I try to ignore it but I agree that it annoys me at times.

It's all over tv shows and even commercials. It makes me feel like an 8th grade English teacher. It is very annoying.

How do you feel about the word "I's"? Joe and I's house.

"Relaship" for "relationship" drives me crazy.

Or "youse". I think it's even spelled that way with closed caption. LOL.

"Yous" is hilarious. I say it now just to be funny. They said that on the Sopranos as well, so I guess it's a Jersey thing?

"Joe and I's house" makes my ears bleed. There's just NO excuse, sorry!! She should go back to prison for that alone.

That's what I don't get. What do they do exactly to have so much money to live in these big houses?

To be blunt -- I can't think of a single cast member on any of the RH franchises that speaks intelligently about anything or appears to have had much of an education past high school, and if they did, apparently forgot to take remedial English. they all make the most glaring mistakes on basic English rules of grammar.
