Siggy really needs to take a seat

Did anyone else catch her Holocaust comment?

reply

I had to Google her son's "Jappy" comment, because I was like WTF?

reply

Usually it refers to Jewish American Princess, although I suppose it can be amended to Jewish American Prince also.

Yeah, that was a teachable moment for me, because I was all set to start writing some letters and whatnot. I've never heard that before. Actually, I can go the rest of my life without hearing it again.

Burn, Hollywood, Burn!- from the incomparable album Fear of a Black Planet by Public Enemy.

reply

I missed that because I tune her and Delores out when they're on. What did she say?

reply

Care to be more specific? I can't remember exactly what you are referring to.

reply

Exactly what I was wondering...what did she say?

reply

That's she proud to be a decedent of survivors. She was saying in a very flippant way. Not a slip of words. She was acting like her parents got out of it by karate chopping Nazi. Her parents, the survivors, were way more humbled and admitted luck played a part. She, Siggy, also had a tude like people chose to die in the Holocaust. It was very I'm better than youish. I know they all do it, but it's one thing for money and silly sh*t that doesn't matter. It's another over people dying. My grandmother has cancer and I saw this a lot. Not say it's the same, but I'll never forget this guy got ALS and he said "I won't let my disease beat me, I will beat my disease" and I LOST it on him especially because I knew he was referring to my grandmother.

reply

No to be honest I fast forwarded most of that scene. I like Siggy a lot but I find her scenes boring.
