So Jaq busted Teresa and Joe.
No surprise there.
Also, I wouldn't be surprised if the government gave her immunity for turning them in.

I was only half awake during the last episode. Did that accusation come out of nowhere?

I've seen that rumor online for years. No way of knowing if it's true or not, but it would kind of explain why Jaq and Caroline were trying to get Teresa to talk about her legal issues on camera. I don't want to sound like a conspiracy theorist or anything, nor am I trying to relinquish Teresa or Joe of any blame or accountability of their actions, but I definitely feel like they were trying to get her in incriminate herself. Why else would such "dear friends" care so much about tabloids, and get so angry at her for not wanting to talk about personal legal issues, while legally, she was more than likely advised against it?
They are definitely trying to save their one skin. The Laurita's have been having major legal issues for years, but for some reason Bravo never speaks of it; isn't that odd? I mean if any Housewife gets into any legal trouble whatsoever it's usually the main storyline. Makes me think legally they cannot speak of it because of whatever deal was made. I mean, was it ever explained why Chris suddenly left the company he owned for years to sell swamp water? Seems sketchy to me.
I use to follow the Laurita legal issues on and off and remember some random details, because back around season 3/4 all the Housewives blogs were talking about the Laurita's legal issues, and I remember being really confused why it wasn't mentioned on the show. Anyway, from what I understand Chris, Jaq, his brother and sister-in-law were all suspected of using company money for personal items, including cars and plastic surgery. I remember the government asked Chris for all his business files and he said he gave them everything, then he wiped a computer clean, told them he forgot about it, and then turned it in. Again, sketchy.
The fact that there was such an in depth investigation but no resolution, it really makes me believe there was some sort of deal, and I'm sure part of that deal had to do with giving information about the Giudice's.
Very interesting. I remember hearing years ago about the clothing business but never gave notice to the fact that it was not more widely spoken about.
shareI always wondered the same thing as to why Jac bankruptcy is not being talked about. I think she lies as much as the others.
shareWhy would she need to do that? Teresa and Joe are utter morons who live in a mansion and brag about their wealth on national tv. Surprised they weren't in prison a lot sooner.
share...not to mention leasing a Lexus as a coming home from prison present!
