Gia has a BF but she....

...has grown up SOOO MUCH! Ive always loved her eyes. Since Ive binged watched all seasons, and seen her since she was just a kid going to auditions, and sassy and "tawking" all Jersey, its gracy to see her now! From braces to dating a Sr in HS! She had a growth period for sure.

Remember that episode at Jacquelines when they were doing team sports or relays? She got mad at her Zio Joe? From that season to the very next she grew up!

Zio Joe

ZIO is what they have been saying all these years?? I thought they were just pronouncing Dear oddly and always wondered why they were calling him Dear Joe.

I looked up Zio and see it means uncle and NOW it makes sense.

THANK YOU!

I'm erasing you and I'm happy!

Lol you're welcome. : -)

Zio means uncle in Italian. My mom used it in her family but my cousins and siblings just said Uncle and Aunt. The way they say it sounds like "zu/zoo".

I adore Gia (and all the Guidice children). She is mature for her age and is forced to deal with so much from her parents, I think she handles it all very well. She is more mature than I was at her age!

I'm Italian and we say zia/ zio in my family too but we pronounce it with a D sound. It's weird, I don't know why. Just sort of transformed into that after a few decades.

I thought it was "Tio".

Tio/ Tia is Spanish.

I realize that, but I always thought I heard them saying "Tio".
