Damon is like Spike when he was under F.E Control

I don't want to make comparison between Buffy and Vampire diaries .
But then it hit me

In the S7 Buffy , Spike was under First Evil's control , he killed over a dozen girls .And but Buffy still had faith in him , even Gile and Wood tried to kill Spike in secret .First Evil wanted to open the Hell Mouth.

Damon is under the influence of the Siren ( maybe even directly control by Arcadius ),Hell killed many many innocent people , Stefan still wants to save Damon , the rest of the gang will want to kill Damon .

Matt would wants to kill Damon revenge for Tyler;'s death . (like Wood wanted to kill Spike for his mother's death)

Stefan still has faith in Damon ( Stefan is Buffy)

Alaric is like Gile

Caroline is like Xander ( bad mouthing Spike )

Arcadius's hell is like First evil tried to open the Hell Mouth
