How woke is this?

I haven’t watched this film yet, but it seems to tick a lot of diversity check boxes (Asian cast, etc).

I’m guessing that since California (the location of Hollywood) is extremely progressive, producers get stuck in a bubble where they think the rest of the world is hyper progressive too.

I am still interested in this movie, because I like cars and trucks, but can someone tell me how woke this film is before I allocate time to watching it?

It's a Japanese movie, so how does having an Asian cast make it woke?
