I'm a male anti-feminist (this does not mean I'm against equality between genders, but there are a lot of attributes about feminism itself which I'm against; but I won't go into it right now). However, I think that if feminists had to choose one film to promote their cause, I don't think they would go far wrong with Winter's Bone.
shareTo the op - I haven't seen it yet (will presently) but the 'The girl with the dragon tattoo or whatever in the sequels' is probably a better choice. The movies are ok at moments with regards to extremist feminism but the books they are based upon are so disgusting that I just could not force myself to read the first one to the end because the pro feminist AND all males are stupid pigs except who are feminists themselves agenda was so blatant that it was disgusting... and by the way, as you said I am not an anti feminist but lets face it some of the crap in the feminist movements is beyond obnoxious and hypocrisy.
