Animal cruelty
Was it necessary to show how to skin a squirrel?
I thought animal cruelty wasn't allowed in movies, but since the squirrel was already dead it's ok to skin it, take its guts, etc.
Disgusting.

You vape to much and vegan to hard.
OMG really you posted that. I am sure that was not a real squirrel and in all honestly it is food to people that do not have money. At least they are providing for themselves and not living off of the government with food stamps.
shareWhile I'm sure it was not a real squirrel, I don't want to see that either. And yes I am an big animal lover! It could have been implied what was happening. I am not against most graphic things in movies (as long it's not just for sensational affect). And I understand they have to do it in order to eat, but you don'need to criticize someone else b/c they voiced opinion. No one said you have to agree but you also don't have to be an *beep* about it. Now that's my opinion. Agree or not, I don't give a damn what you think. Goodbye
shareYou are entitled to your opinion. The issue here is that people that kill and eat animals are not trying to make you live differently or telling you you're doing something evil. So in terms of "live and let live", you're the guilty one that's coming online to share your self righteous opinions.
The farmers you pay for tofu and broccoli have killed more innocent animals than you realize. Get over yourself.
I was concerned about the dog chained up outside all the time.
shareThe dog character in the movie was chained for his scenes. The dog actor probably was not normally chained.
shareActually, it's very likely that it was, considering it was not a dog actor but the actual dog of the little girl in the film(also not an actor, she lived in the house where the movie was filmed...)
shareThey shoot squirrels for food, which is no worse than slaughtering cows, pigs, and chickens for food. Both are totally normal, moral, and healthy since humans have evolved as omnivores and are meant to eat meat as well as plants.
shareOnly kill what you can eat. But really bullets have gotten so expensive just shooting isn't getting done anymore.
