wonder if this will be as good as Yellow

Honestly, the first episode was kind of dull. I get they're setting things up, but the pacing was slow.

The opener was a dud. I watched about 20 minutes and handed the remote to my wife and went to sleep.

Having this show rely upon the acting of these two was NOT a good idea. Sam Elliot will end up having to carry the show if it floats at all.

I've watched the first two episodes and enjoyed both quite a bit. And Tim and Faith have impressed me with their acting abilities. I wouldn't guess they weren't both lifelong actors if I didn't know who they were.

i hope not since yellow stone is fucking terrible. but first though, let me ask you. did you think yellow stone season 1 was good or does it get better later? season 1's first episode was so good but it soon devolved into a redneck daytime soap opera. i've seen 2 eps of 1883 and it's pretty good. it's doesnt deserve a 9 on imdb but it's like a solid 7.

really really enjoyed them, fully captivated and have already recommended the show to my friends.

I think it is better so far. But than Yellowstone was good to start with as well.
