Like most reboots
There are exceptions like BSG, but most reboots are terrible, and this MacGyver is just another failure that won't last long. I wouldn't like it anyway, but why call it MacGyver? For new generations it means very little, and it's quite obvious that older people would be disappointed after the first five minutes of the first episode. I watched the second episode because sometimes a show goes in another direction immediately, but it wasn't the case, and so I'm done with it.
