like I have predicted this beep series which is an insult to all the true MacGyver fans already droped nearly 20% in rartings in episode 2 and it's expected to be canselled in no more than 2 months time.
And still leads the Friday night at 8pm timeslot in both overalls and demographic.
And by the way you should learn how to post a link at some point. Generally they do help give a little weight to your argument instead of just statements out of the blue.
Lower ratings are tolerated on Friday nights. How do you think H5O gets renewed every year despite being on every entertainment writers most likely to be cancelled list.
I guess "Criminal Minds" will be cancelled within a couple of months too. After all it only got 8.92m overall with a 1.9 in the demo and it has a prime spot on Wednesday nights at 9pm.
It was 10 million last week and now it's like 9 this week. Sorry but many shows I watched have had 5 million renewed every year and so far I see nothing to believe it's going to be cancelled.
If it gets lower than 5 million then I will get in a worrying mode.
"Blue Bloods" is Tom Selleck! He will bring in an audience until the day he dies.
H5O, check the date on that deal - 2011! It's now running in the middle of the night in syndication. When they tried putting it on at decent hours they lost viewers. And every year since it was moved to Friday nights it's always been the same thing, it should be cancelled but will most likely pick up a renewal because it's on Friday night where lower ratings are tolerated.
Big Scorpion fan. Recently watched a season of MacGyver for the first time. Watched a rerun of Scorpion tonight, and it wasn't one of the better eps. Scorpion is SO much more a nod and tribute to MacGyver than this reboot is. I was optimistic with the first episode, but the second ep was garbage. Clearly the showrunners have a show in mind and it doesn't involve MacGyver. Pity, cause if you took him out of the equation, you'd have a pretty good Charlie's Angels and man sidekick kinda show.
