Visually ugly
In a time when we get to see shows like Mr Robot, Better Call Saul, True Detective, Stranger Things, or Penny Dreadful on a pretty regular basis, I was staggered at how visually ugly this show is. The overwrought lighting, the cheesy camera work, the utterly uninspired framing is all really unbelievable. I can't understand how anyone thought this was good work. I've been watching the original series recently, and despite its low production values and crappy 80s video, it's still better looking than this series.
