Richard Hatch did the same thing before the new Battlestar Galactica aired, but eventually changed his mind and ended up doing 22 episodes as Tom Zarek, which is actually one more episode than he played Apollo in the original Battlestar Galactica.

Oh. I was going to say I haven't even heard that Survivor guy's name in like 16 years. The only reason I remember it is because of how hot that show was at the time.
