- an investigation into alex's background would have discovered he was not the nephew of holly. he was questioned but they never searched his house where he lived with holly.
- after taylor killed himself, all three cops including loki would have been put on leave.
- it would not be easy to kidnap two young girls in broad daylight on a quiet afternoon. i wonder how holly and alex pulled it off.

- I think they were both really interested in the camper (desperately wanting to climb on it in the first encounter), he or the aunty - was she presumed to be there at the time of the abduction? I can't remember - probably just invited them to look inside. Although the dad seems like the kind of guy who would have drilled it into his daughter to NOT trust anyone she doesn't know.
Did we ever get an explanation to why the police didn't question the father more about Alex whereabouts? He should've been a clear suspect.
