So its only rumors about a sequel moving forward at this point but just make it happen already! We need it.
Let’s hope there’s truth to these rumors. It’s about time we got a follow up to the epic that was Fury Road. (Oh yeah naysayers.)
shareI hope it happens. I was pleasantly surprised by Fury Road and it was my favorite film of 2015 AND it's now my favorite Mad Max film. I would like to see some back story with this Max though. Maybe just a few flashback scenes with Max before he apocalypse.

shareI did. It was pretty stupid. They tried to shoehorn in the original continuity. Miller says this is not a continuation of the original movies. It shares a similar backstory. But that is it. Big reason he put the the Ford Falcon in this. But still many fans insist it is a continuation. I still want to still backstory on THIS Max .
shareIt be interesting to see where George Miller would take the story, since the last shot of the movie was so hopeful for a new future.
Also I wonder if the bad blood with Tom and Charlize is something they can work out. It didn't seem like they liked eachother very much from what both parties have said about working with one-another.
I didn't know that there was bad blood between them. I'd like for them both to come back for the sequel. Furiosa was a cool character.

It was Furiosa's movie, he was actually completely superfluous.
I'd be surprised if it happens. Tom Hardy's gonna kill himself with all these action roles.

"Are there two “Fury Road” sequels in the works?
There are two stories, both involving Mad Max, and also a Furiosa story. We’re still solving, we’ve got to play out the Warners thing, it seems to be pretty clear that it’s going to happen."

Yeah, no. Expect some reboots after George gets tired but that's it.

shareI think he is olioz, he's just a perfectionist and VERY protective of the Mad Max brand, which is why he took a lifetime to get Fury Road made. For me it was absolutely worth the wait, but I wouldn't mind if things move a little more swiftly with the sequels.
