I feel cheated .....

Honestly, I felt cheated a bit.

The movie and its marketing builds around the strange concept of downsizing humans and I sort of liked the idea of doing it to save global resources ... and then it turns out that the core of the story is not at all about this weird and very interesting premise. Deep into the story it shifts and begin to focus on social inequality and does this for quite bit, drips later into unrelated cult followings, then nature disaster and their validity and finally ends with “end of the world” prophesies, and a choice to follow life or love or whatever .. and oh btw, we have downsized peps playing the parts we see for no reason... a mess of a story.

Do A or B for crying out loud. I was expecting A and was hoping for a feelgood comedy about this far out but interesting idea... and I could have also enjoyed B, was it done right... but this odd mishmash of everything and so nothing, frankly annoyed me.

Unfortunately its lack of focus became apparent halfway through, and so the latter half was ... welll, it was not.
