Season 8 writing

IMO, the writing in Season 8 has been hit and miss. The premiere was excellent--a tight story with good action. Since then, the episodes have just been so-so. Jordana's writing is the least consistent among the regulars; Gemmill and Military are the most consistent (based on previous seasons). Just because Kensi's in the hospital doesn't mean there have to be 10 minutes of doctors describing her condition in every episode--wait until there's a change. Just because there's a mole doesn't mean the writers have to include this in EVERY episode (the deadline is 80+ days away). The writers missed an awesome dramatic scene: the visit of Callen and Sam to see Kensi. We see everybody else EXCEPT Callen and Sam--the guys who've risked their lives TWICE to save her (Afghanistan and Syria)? If they show Eric and Nell visiting her--and STILL not Callen and Sam--then they'll have REALLY screwed up. All in all, not impressed with the writing so far.
