Things AD Learned This Week (10/30) on Homeland Security
For some people in LA, NCIS is not their first call in an emergency. Some still use 9-1-1. Has anyone (other than NCIS employees) EVER called NCIS first during an emergency?
PEBG prefers his couch to the LA stadium. Actually, he doesn't, and if AD had watched the entire episode he'd know that. Also, the "LA stadium" is the LA Coliseum.
That maintenance dude shares DNA with Steven Seagal. Steven's martial arts expertise is over-rated.
EBB will be a regular thing until the ATF decides to hire her or her ratings drop. Count on some cases involving swimwear if that happens. Anna could still be a regular even if she's hired by the ATF. As for swimwear, that's already been covered by NKADG--at least twice.
Granger and Deeks= Greeks. That's probably better than Deeks and Granger= Danger. DYM doesn't know that mashing his name with Grangers (Greeks) indicates that they're a romantic couple (Densi, Neric), but it's LA, so he might be cool with that.
LA is a rough place. The YMCA teaches UFC level skills.
The Israeli dude never said he took classes in LA; the YMCA has clubs in 100+ countries. Besides, he wasn't being serious.
Illegal search? LOL. Hasn't the maintenance dude ever seen this show? It didn't matter since Callen and Sam weren't trying to build a legal case.
Using terms like spanner for a wrench and flat for an apartment is no reason to suspect the maintenance dude may have been foreign. PEBG will eventually catch on. Actually, the terms "spanner" and "flat" (as in apartment) are British (according to the dictionary--a reliable source), so the use of them might indicate that the person is from a foreign country. It's called a clue, and last week AD understood what a clue was.
TTS is into botany. No, Sam's not; he's using sarcasm (as a fan of DYM it's surprising AD doesn't recognize it).
Gun thugs will not gank people that have seen them abducting a child. Maybe gun thugs aren't into ganking federal agents--since they identified themselves. As for "seeing" the child abduction, the gun thug didn't disable the video camera, so everyone got a good look at him walking out with the child.
Not the hostage in a barrel in a field filled with barrels scenario again... looks like:
1) The bad guys have been watching US crime dramas, and
2) We need some new federal regulations about barrel safety devices. Yea, 'cause there aren't enough government regulations and barrels are so unsafe (maybe a new department can handle that).
When doing a hostage exchange, only use minimal people. Avoid using perimeter security so you can track the gun thug as he departs.
When it's an unauthorized op, use minimal people; perimeter security on an industrial site wouldn't mean involving all of NCIS or LAPD or any other law enforcement.
When you're a big deal in the Israeli underworld, it's easy to come and go to the US. This includes gun thugs in your employ. Folks in the underworld don't know how to create false IDs and all of them are on the terrorist watch list.
When you have a rifle on your back, always use your handgun to stop a fleeing vehicle. It was DYM.
PEBG has a minor in marriage counseling. Either that or his relationship time with TTS has paid off. Being a father actually has little to do with being a husband.
NCIS: LA Character Acronyms
DYM=dirty, yellow-haired man (Deeks) (This isn't my original, but I liked it.)
NKADG=now known as Deeks' girlfriend (Kensi)
