What is worse than Jumping the Shark? (Spoilers)

What is worse than “Jumping the Shark”?? (Spoilers)

Show 8.10 (Sirens 11/27/16):

As I have said before, I watch NCIS-LA and H50 for the action and not the story. But tonight the action was terrible. After some hard detective work they find the POI in a house and Callen and Sam take her into custody to take her back to the “Boat House”. Not 3 seconds go by before 2 vehicles full of bad people are on their tail. They get boxed in by two vans even though Sam is suppose to be the worlds greatest driver. Out they all jump. Bad guys have their usual automatic weapons and they destroy various cars and never nick our heroes, but kill the POI. Good guys with great handguns cannot hit the side of a barn. A handgun in the hand of an expert shot can be quit deadly. Not so here. Good Grief!! Good guys go about their business as if the POI in Government custody was not just killed. Don’t they at least have to be written up? Good grief again.

Hetty was just an embarrassment. On the raid showing no exposed weapon was strolling into the house like visiting a friend. Does her normal cryptic remarks like she knows something. World’s worse boss. She is always keeping critical info from the team that could endanger them. Seems to be walking thru her appearances. Getting rid of her adds to the program.

Granger should die off screen and soon before he dies on screen. Must have suffered a stoke in real life.

Kensi is a miracle. Almost all well. She goes off with guy in his truck and then she is at the firing range. I smell backstory. At the firing range she is perfect with her right hand but not so much with her left hand, which Hetty makes her attempt. Just out of the blue. Wow is Hetty ever tough and idiotic.

Nell broke a harden criminal with a sad story. Way to go. Like seeing her on screen.

Eric is just plain goofy, but likable.

Deeks better step up his game or he might be gone. One of my favorites.

Writers, if you must have automatic fire play in every episode, please make it make some sense and not be cartoon like

If you're a stickler for realistic characters and action, it's like an oxymoron that Deeks would be one of your favorites--he's the least believable of the four team members (and would have been slapped silly by LAPD for all his inappropriate remarks and actions). Here's hoping he IS gone sooner rather than later.

Wow. Couple things:
It wasn't two vans; it was a van and a car. We don't know how long it had been since they'd picked up the POI. Sam is a good driver; they were ambushed. I re-watched the scene and there was no way Sam could have avoided getting trapped without crashing. Everyone EXCEPT the POI was using vehicles as cover; that's why only she was hit. Why do you want to see them fill out paperwork? Is that what they do on H50 cuz that seems really boring--and NOT action.

Carl is NOT a "hardened" criminal, so the fact that Nell could outwit him (not break him) is hardly surprising.

Why wouldn't Kensi go for a drive with a real Marine? And Hetty asking her to shoot left-handed was to make her see she's not ready yet. And complaining because she's a crack shot? You complain when they miss and complain when they don't; make up your mind.

Hetty is strange--always has been--but now she's not sure who she can trust (makes her stranger).

Granger is hanging in and good for him.

Deeks is a sap IMO and I'd drop him if I were Kensi.

I agree with Butch. It was a van and a car, but as for the shooting---everybody EXCEPT Natalie stayed hidden behind the vehicles. Also, we don't know how much time had passed when they were ambushed (they'd turned at least one corner and were having a conversation with Natalie), and I don't think backing into the pursuing car would be an ideal scenario--especially if you wanted to get away. And why would they be written up--since she was killed by others? I know I don't want to spend time watching that.

Hetty was acting weird, but I don't think she put the team in danger this time (she has before), and I definitely don't think she's the worst boss.

Personally, I'd like to see more of Sullivan and less of Deeks (he's the most annoying regular character on the show).

I like Nell, but she didn't break Carl with a sad story; she got him to talk because she used strategy (and I'd hardly call Carl "hardened"). He's like the dough boy.

Eric is better in ops IMO, but he's cute--and I liked the way he stood up to Deeks this episode ("I'm not your secretary," making sure he reset Nell's chair, and that eye roll).

If this turns out to be Deeks' last season, that's okay with me.
