This week (11/27) on Homeland Security..

a/k/a Things I learned...

Gun thugs don't make good sheriff's deputies. If you steal a uniform and a car, be smart and steal the body armor as well.

TTS needs to read Gibbs' rule #39: There are no coincidences.

NCIS has a couple of reasons to look into this, so we'll be happy to take over the case, I mean to assist.

TTS does not know the difference between a sheriff (one person) and a deputy sheriff (the sheriff's employees). They probably glossed over that at FLETC.

TTS may be a Reagan fan: Maybe the deputies (from the government) were not here to help you.

Dog walkers in LA are required to be able to ID stolen cars.

SN is going operational again. Better her than ING.

Deeks also does not understand the difference between a sheriff and deputy sheriffs.

If this show were A Pup Named Scooby-Doo (1988), Deeks would be Freddie thanks to dumb suspect theories of the crime.

ING made it a trifecta for improperly using "sheriffs". At this point we can blame the writers.

Chicks with skills such as being able to take down two armed gun thugs that have pulled and being able to locate PEBG's residence cannot obtain his phone number.

Decision point: ING or Kensi and two moms. Kensi and the moms. ING or an IRS audit: IRS audit. ING or water torture: Water torture. Deeks made a bad call.

If things don't work out with Kensi, Deeks should hit on her mom. Prettier, and less attitude.

It's never too early for a drink in LA.

TTS has been interrogating people for a long time, while SN hasn't. It's a sure bet she'll get the info now.

SN's story had grown so tiresome Carl would have said anything to get her to stop.

Even though he wouldn't make it as a singer, ING should quit his day job.

Like Deeks, I don't understand "this" either.

SN is up on prison terminology.

ING is a walking database of food trucks in LA.

Nod by Deeks to the director, Jonathan Frakes, who played Riker on Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987): So we've got all of this Star Trek (1966) gak...

TTS knew it was a solar roof company despite ING not mentioning what type of solar power Vexsun was. PEBG realized it was simply a solar company.

TTS gave another reference to President Reagan. He's probably a secret Republican.

When going to a suspect location in LA, there is no need to roll up your windows or lock your car doors. The car is government property, so it's no big deal if it gets stolen.

Just when you thought we had hit the bottom with ING, we meet Irritating Security Guard Guy: ISGG.

This is the last week for hoodie Kensi, which is a good thing seeing as how it is so warm that people are wearing shorts around her.

ING by himself in ops and singing is why mute buttons on remotes exist.

Among her other skills, APD is a great driver. Despite the Challenger being able to shave off 4 minutes from LA travel in the 11/6 episode, it came in second today.

APD and Deeks went so fast their height changed.

If you're trying to covertly approach a house where a suspect may be located, make a lot of noise by approaching really fast and then slamming on the brakes.

APD does not need a gun. Her mind is a weapon. It's a little known secret that as a child in a galaxy far, far away she taught mind tricks to the Jedi.

They can add destruction of government property to the charges. That was a cool robot.

A lawyer? What show has this chick been watching?

There is no need to close the doors of a home after you leave with the suspect.

In a second poor showing, the Challenger is outmaneuvered by a van. TTS needs driving lessons from APD.

The gun thugs shot the Challenger! Despite being the best character on the show, it gets no respect.

The gun thugs from this week went to the gun shooting school as the ones from the 11/6 episode. They did somewhat better by wounding the girl.

When you have skills such as being able to take down two armed gun thugs that have pulled, the smart thing to do is run from behind cover into the open so you can get shot in the leg.

The gun thugs this week missed the training that says when you have superior numbers, firepower, and have wounded your target, you don't get in the vehicles and leave.

I need to invest in car window glass companies in LA.

TTS missed the training in SEAL school for treating leg wounds and assessing injuries.

Despite being shot in the leg by the gun thug and having no wound visible in her back, the chick suddenly had an abdominal gunshot wound.

APD is never wrong. Kensi's trauma must have been worse than we thought, as she also does not know her right from her left.
