I can't stand this drama BS anymore

Everytime Kensi's a Deeks' relationship comes up in conversation, mainly when talking with other people, I cringe super hard. If I was someone dealing with Deeks or Kensi, I couldn't care less about their personal drama. Wtf guys, do your jobs and spare us your personal BS. Sometimes it almost feels like watching some cringy fanfiction...

Man, do I agree with you!! Fan fiction soap opera ad nauseam. If this stupid Densi becomes the focus again, you can kiss the ratings goodbye. I am SO hoping Deeks either dies or gets arrested.

reply

Then go watch something else? Densi has been coming for years now and you don't have to watch it.

NCIS works better without relationship drama within the team. I'm glad that Tony and Ziva never amounted to anything beyond playful banter on the original show and I wish that Deeks and Kensi would've followed the same route.

I've got nothing against God, it's his fanclub I can't stand

Apparently you didn't watch the last season Ziva was on. They have a little girl.

reply

True, but their relationship was never part of the show. In fact, Tony didn't even know he had a child until after Ziva was killed--and neither did anyone else on the show. Most of the characters never knew Tony and Ziva were even romantically involved, except Abby (who knows everything). Compare that to Kensi and Deeks where Kensi and Deeks have PDA repeatedly, and Kensi has even referred to him as "Babe" in front of both Callen and Sam. In addition, Hetty and Granger know about their romantic relationship; Gibbs would never have allowed that between Tony and Ziva (he told Barrett to leave Tony alone--and they weren't even on the same team).

reply

Except the last episode she was on-then they definitely hooked up. But I get it. Maybe they'll truly go the soap opera route, get married, then that means one will have to die:)

hopefully the one who would die is Deeks

lol

Exactly. Romance is kept in the background on NCIS, whereas Densi is shoved in our face all the time. Even when they're not in a scene, you have characters talking about them.

I watched it. But since Ziva and Cote was pretty much written out of the show by then I don't count the few episodes where we learned that she and Tony hooked up.

lol Great description: cringy fan fiction.  That sums up the awful Densi relationship perfectly.
