Full circle

To me, this story line is making things come full circle. A few years ago when Daniela was pregnant IRL, Kensi has the storyline of going to the Middle East to hunt down a (maybe? maybe not?) bad guy. While she was there (in the winter), they could hide here baby belly under the heavy clothes and flak jackets and etc.

Now, when Daniela was pregnant with her second child, they storyline takes her to a chopper crash and rehab (where they could hide her baby belly under blankets and, well, under the helicopter). While in rehab, Kensi reconnects with someone from her days in the Middle East.

The Middle East storyline was kind of out of place … so is this the way the writers are bringing it all back home to hopefully make it make more sense?
