The first preview's out. Lots of action, but if it's 45 minutes of rescuing Kensi--boring. Also, if there's nothing more to the "mole," this story line was a HUGE dud. Who cares about the CIA? And where's the team shake-up? If the shake-up is the passing of Granger, then shame on the writers for using a tragedy instead of their writing skills to move the plot forward. And if Joelle "betrays" Callen, so what? Why would it matter and why would he care? He's moved on. The way they're using these words--mole, torture, betrayal--they don't have their recognized meaning. Ferris wasn't the mole; Sabatino was--and even HE doesn't fit the definition because he didn't work at NCIS. Torture? It looks as if Ferris is just moving Kensi around. That's not torture. Betrayal? The betrayal could be as simple as Joelle telling Callen she dated someone else while they were together. I'm not holding my breath that anything really surprising is going to happen, but maybe I'm too cynical. Here's hoping the episode is more than a rescue operation. Jordana's isn't the best writer on the series. I hope she doesn't screw it up and make it into a sappy soap opera episode (her stories tend to be heavy on Densi sappiness--it's been a relief to not have so much of that this season).
The one unintentional comic scene: Deeks hitting Sabatino. Deeks hits like a girl. lol
