Kevin James in for Chris Farley, conspicuous, sad

Kevin James did a great job and fit in with the guys wonderfully, but he did seem quite conspicuous in the role being the only one of the crew who wasn't from the old SNL days. It felt sort of like I was watching Nirvana perform with Eddie Vedder in for Kurt Cobain. It just isn't the same, and it is sort of depressing to watch because the whole movie it is painfully obvious that's supposed to be Farley in that role. Collin Quinn, David Spade, Chris Rock, Tim Meadows, Adam Sandler, Rob Schneider, Maya Rudolph, and Norm MacDonald. The whole movie was one big SNL reunion (which was great), but it sort of made Kevin James stick out like a sore thumb.

It's not like Maya Rudolph ever worked with any of those guys on SNL.
Colin Quinn wasn't on SNL at the same time as Rob Schneider and Chris Rock, etc.
So you're suggesting they should have dug up Chris Farley's corpse for the movie?

Kevin James filled in nicely, all I said was it's sad Chris couldn't be in this. What's your problem weirdo?
