Inception didn't age well

If you watch this now, it sucks, contrary to what happened to Source Code, amazing movie, less pretentious and millions of times more fun to watch. So why the rating hasn't dropped down? Lazy people left their original ratings. But it deserves a 2.1

What are you on about? First of all, talking about the "aging" of a movie released a mere 6 years ago is ridiculous. And then going on to compare it with Source Code, a good movie but nothing more, makes you seem unaware and unwilling to understand the influence of popular cinema.

Inception has spawned books worth of discussion on internet forums and videos. The same, honestly, cannot be said about Source Code, at least not in terms of volume. When I watched the latter, I loved it and was reminded of the experience of watching Inception myself. But there's a reason I went to the theatre thrice to watch the former, and didn't really consider a return to the theatre for the latter.

But hey, maybe that's just me.

Are you retarded or simply pretending? You gave Movie 43 a 7, but believe Inception deserves a 2.1? Do you really think someone is going to take you seriously?

I just saw it for the first time and thought it was great. This movie will stand the test of time.

It hasn't aged well, nor has any of Nolan's movies. That's because they are built on exposition and the instant impact they have when watching them the first time. That's why I refuse to re-watch his movies, everything is gone.

Inception only makes me nauseated. That one is really heavy on exposition. Everything has to be explained multiple times, making the movie more complicated than it is. The method is not that advanced or complex, Nolan should have skipped that part and just let us go with the whole thing. Would have it make it better.
This way you just press fast-forward and skip to the good parts.

The first two times I tried to watch inception I fell asleep, in the cinema and then again at home. It is just a simple heist movie based on a really dumb premise of magical dream technology crap.

I think it's possible that some people probably still think Inception is a good movie. Therefore they probably don't see a reason to change their original high rating.

Inception is one of my favorite movies. Source Code is a really good movie too.

I just finished watching it probbaly for the 7th or the 8th time, and I think the total opposite: This movie still holds up! I enjoyed it almost as much as seeing it for the first time. :)

you are welcome to voice your opinion of the movie, but branding people that don't share your opinion is stupid.

Inception is one of the few films that I can watch again and again, and still feel like the first time I've seen it.
It's in my top 3 movies of all time, a stunning film.

Six years after its making ... Inception has aged very well.

Should I go start a new thread?
