I had that type of dream one night many years ago

I have where I thought oh this is so bad, maybe its a dream, but then I woke up and it really was that bad and I was like oh no now what I know im not dreams and I was convinced I wasn't, but I did wake up later and realized it actually was a dream...so rare, but I have experience that once.

but in the movie they had a device that allowed a dream within a dream to take place.

Two times. Both were nightmares. A strange feeling to wake up and later wake up again ... to real life.

Even if you had such an experience, chances that you will remember it when wake up are extremely low.

Nolan, I love you forever!

That depends on what stage of sleep you're in when you're woken up. I've woken up from many dreams that I can remember well for days and even months. And other dreams that when I come back from the bathroom, the memories have long faded to the point you can't even visualize the dream but you still have an emotional memory of it. It's a great idea to keep a journal with you to write down details of your dreams right after you wake up.

I dreamed that I had insomnia, but I'm not sure if I ever woke up.
