The fight scene in the spinning hotel corridor

One of the greatest fight scenes ever put to film! Even though it was relatively short, and not overly complex, it was still absolutely extroardinary, due to the circimstances and how real they made it seem.

I remember seeing that in the threatre, and thinking to myself that I had never seen anything like that before. Nor since.

For me, a movie is always taken to the next level when it does something you've never seen before. Sure, we've seen spinning rooms before, but nothing like that.

Awesome!! Love Inception!

I love that scene. And I don't think Nolan is generally a very good action director, but he gets that scene done right. I love it when the guy flies down the hallway toward the elevator.

The anti-gravity scene is excellent, too. He has an eye for moving the camera around during these scenes which gives us the essence of the action along with the danger.

i'm actually watching that scene right now, and i'm a bit confused. shouldn't the people in the winter mountains dream also be spinning around, since their dreaming bodies are spinning in the hotel room? joseph gordon-levitt is spinning because his body is spinning in the van, after all.

The mountains may have been spinning, but too slowly to detect - remember that dream time works faster with each deeper level

Before this film started to really grow on me (it somewhat impressed me the first time but surprisingly didn’t wow me), this utterly unique scene is one that I loved from the very beginning. I mean, just seeing clips of it sold me on the film alone.

Now, it’s said that Nolan isn’t a master when it comes to directing action scenes. However, the film’s zero gravity/hotel corridor sequence (along with some of the sequences in The Dark Knight trilogy) is truly magnificent and one of a kind.

Yes, that was an awesome scene. I may have to re-watch this film since I didn't really totally comprehend it the first time.

I love this scene, it looked really physically demanding for JGL and he looked like a badass.
