2. A lot of reviewers used the phrase 'overly ambitious' and I found it that way.
I'm no stranger to odd films; one of my favourite movies is Barton Fink. I could watch that every day and enjoy it.
I just found the fragmentary nature of this film too jarring. Good on them for trying though. I do appreciate the effort that went into it.
I for one found this long and terribly boring. It's just a jumbled mess of stories about troubled people . It feels like their lives are building up to something but it collapses rapidly.

I gave it an A-. It would have gotten a bit higher, but there were a few scenes that did drag just a tiny bit.
