What's up with their eyes in the future?
Is it because they are non-korean actors trying to look korean? Or is it because all humans in the future just have weird eyes?

shareCurrently in our history there are people all over the planet getting nip and tuck surgery for a great many things. One such altercation is in the Far East, where people get surgery to make them look more western.
In the book, they cover a topic called 'face-scaping', where many residents on Neo-Seoul get their faces (mostly the eyes) modified to look more eastern. It is a trend in the far off future depicted in the story and it's not important for it to look 'accurate' so much as it is to look more like those already face-scaped.
In the film, they show face-scaped people, but they don't bother mentioning that it is purposely done for fashion.

Thanks for clarifying.
shareThanks for the explanation about face-scaping. I thought it was just for everyone to look like they were Koreans.

Having not read the book I had guessed it was from East-West breeding. I was glad to see the explanation above. Definitely on my to-read list.
