The film was a box-office disappointment with bad weather and Christmas cited as contributing factors by the studio.[9] This would also result in United Artists Releasing being shut down and folded into MGM, Orion's parent company.[10]

I need to go out and seek this film.

Unfortunately, I don't have much cash to watch films at the cinema these days. Since the pandemic, I started spending my money on other activities (e.g. Lego), and so it's hard to get back into the swing of visiting the theater, as much as I still regard it as the best way to watch a proper *film* (screw Netflix and other exclusive streaming services).
